Annual General Meeting 2015 of P/F BankNordik

The Annual General Meeting of P/F BankNordik will be held on Wednesday 25.
March 2015, at 5 pm. GMT, at Hotel Føroyar in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.

Stine Bosse proposed as new chairman of the board of Directors

At the forthcoming annual general meeting of BankNordik it is proposed to the
general assembly to elect new members of the Board of Directors.

The current members of the Board of Directors elected by the general assembly
all resign from the Board at the forthcoming general meeting. The current
members are Chairman Klaus Rasmussen, former state authorised auditor, deputy
chairman Jens Erik Christensen, former CEO of Codan, Niels Vestermark, former
regional director at Sydbank, and Nils Sørensen, director at Faroe Petroleum.

Two shareholders, The Financing Fund of 1992 and Lind Invest Aps, propose the
following candidates to be elected by the general assembly to the Board of
Directors: Stine Bosse, former CEO of Tryg A/S, as chairman of the Board, Rúni
Vang Poulsen, CEO of Smyril Line, Súsanna Poulsen, CEO of Hjelmeland Sparekasse
in Norway, and Jógvan Jespersen, managing director of the Faroese Pelagic
Industry Organisation.

Klaus Rasmussen, resigning Chairman of the Board comments:

“At some point of time there has to be a change of the members of the board,
and now seems to be a decent time.

The resigning members of the board have in aggregate sat on the board for quite
a few years. The members have participated in introducing the Bank's shares to
the public, and lead the Bank safely through the financial crisis. During this
period the Bank has experienced an extraordinary development, becoming present
in several different geographical markets, as well as the company has more than
doubled in size in the last seven years. In recent years the Bank has managed
to adjust itself, and the latest annual report shows forth a strong bank with a
good financial position ripe for further development.

BankNordik has become an attractive company managing to attract competent man
power - also to the Board of Directors. It is very good news, that it has
succeeded to attract such a great capacity as Stine Bosse to the Board of
Directors. She has been heading one of the largest Nordic financial groups, and
thereafter also sat on the Board of Directors for Nordea, the largest Nordic
bank, and Allianz, one of the largest companies in Europe. This is a strong
verification of the Bank's current position, and I wish her the best of luck in
further developing the Bank, when she takes over the helm of the Board.”
