EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING OF NORDIC ALUMINIUM PLC

NORDIC ALUMINIUM PLC NOTICE TO CONVENE EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING May 7,
2009 11.30 am 

The shareholders of Nordic Aluminium Plc (the Company) are convened to the
Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders, to be held at the auditorium of
Nordic Aluminium in Kirkkonummi, Kaapelitie 68, 02490 Pikkala on Wednesday, May
27, 2009 at 8.00 a.m. Registration of the persons who have given a prior notice
to attend will commence at 7.30. 

The following matters will be on the agenda of the Meeting:

1.	Changes in Articles 6 and 8 to the articles of association

Article 6 The Board of Directors constitutes a forum when at least three (3)
members are present. 

Article 8 the Chairman of the Board is authorized to sign alone on behalf of
the Company or the Chairman of the Board and the General Manager together. 

Participation in the Meeting

Only a shareholder who not later than on May 15, 2009 has been registered as a
shareholder in the Register of Shareholders of the Company maintained by
Euroclear Finland Ltd or who under Clause 2 of the Article 4 of the Chapter 3a
of the Finnish Companies Act is entitled to participate, has the right to
participate in the Meeting of shareholders. 

A shareholder who wishes to participate in the Meeting must notify the Company
of his intention to do so not later than on May 25, 2009 at 9.00 a.m. by letter
to the Head Office of the Company, address Nordic Aluminium Plc, AGM, P.O.Box
117, FI-02401 Kirkkonummi, Finland, by telefax +358 20 7660 481 or by e-mail to
jaana.honkonen@nordicaluminium.fi. Possible proxies on the basis of which an
attorney wishes to represent a shareholder at the Meeting, are requested to be
delivered to the Company simultaneously.
