Interim Financial results of Lietuvos energija, AB for the nine months of the year 2011

energija, AB is a public company registered in the Republic of Lithuania.
Lietuvos energija, AB (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a limited
civil liability profit-seeking business entity, registered in the Register of
Legal Entities managed by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers. The Company
was registered on 21 July 2011. The Company's registered office address is
Elektrinės g. 21, LT-26108, Elektrėnai, Lithuania. 

Lietuvos energija, AB was incorporated in relation to the implementation of the
National Energy Strategy, having reorganised two companies. Public companies AB
Lietuvos energija, business ID 220551550, including its branches Kruonis PSP
and Kaunas HPP, and AB Lietuvos elektrinė, business ID 110870933, were
reorganised by way of merger in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Article 2.97 of
the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania. After reorganisation the companies
terminated their activities as legal entities. The newly incorporated Lietuvos
energija, AB continues the activities of reorganised companies. The Company
took over all property, rights and obligations of reorganised companies. 

On 18 August 2010, AB Lietuvos energija acquired the control of AB Lietuvos
elektrinė; therefore, the comparative information of 2010 is presented as if AB
Lietuvos energija and AB Lietuvos elektrinė were merged at the moment when AB
Lietuvos energija acquired the control of AB Lietuvos elektrinė, i.e. on 18
August 2010 (consolidated period - as of 1 September 2010). The information of
2011 is presented as if AB Lietuvos energija and AB Lietuvos elektrinė have
been merged all the time (consolidated period - as of 1 January 2011). 

Financial statements are drawn up in accordance with the International
Financial Reporting Standards. Financial statement of the company is available
