AFARAK DIRECTED SHARE ISSUE

Further  to  the  announcement  of  10 July  2014, the Board of Afarak Group Plc
("Afarak"  or the "Company") (LSE:  AFRK, OMX: AFAGR) announces  that all of the
11,130,434 new  ordinary shares  of no  par value  ("New Shares") offered to the
vendors  of Mogale  Alloys (the  "Vendors") under  the settlement  agreement, as
announced  on 11 October 2012, have been  subscribed for. The total subscription
price  of EUR  5,565,217 (EUR 0.5 per  share) has  been fully  satisfied through
offset  against the settlement receivables of  the Vendors related to the Mogale
Alloys  acquisition.  The  subscriptions  have  been  approved  by  the Board of
Directors.

The New Shares are expected to be registered with the Finnish Trade Register on
24 July 2014. Applications to the UK Listing Authority, the London Stock
Exchange and NASDAQ OMX Helsinki will be made for the New Shares to be admitted
to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of
the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, admission is expected to take
place on 25 July 2014.

Following the issue of the New Shares, the total amount of shares in issue will
be 259,562,434 ordinary shares of no par value of which 4,244,627 ordinary
shares are held in treasury.
