Notification of change in shareholding under the Finnish Securities Market Act

Amer Sports Corporation has received the following information:

As a result of an agreement entered into between Novator Finland Oy,
Ajanta Oy and its fully-owned subsidiary Ajanta N.V, Novator Finland
Oy's and Ajanta N.V.'s shareholding in Amer Sports Corporation may
exceed one-fifth (1/5) of the shares and voting rights in Amer Sports
Corporation.

On January 22, 2008, Novator Finland Oy, Ajanta Oy and Ajanta N.V.
entered into an agreement regarding their current and future
shareholding in Amer Sports Corporation. The agreement includes,
among other things, provisions on the use of voting power in Amer
Sports Corporation. The agreement is effective until June 30, 2009,
or until the date when both Novator Finland Oy, Ajanta Oy and Ajanta
B.V. cease to own shares or forward contracts related to shares in
Amer Sports Corporation, or until the agreement is terminated.

The potential shareholding of Novator Finland Oy and Ajanta N.V. in
Amer Sports Corporation is in total 14,688,917 shares, which
represents 20.31% of the shares and voting rights in Amer Sports
Corporation.

Novator Finland Oy's shareholding in Amer Sports Corporation
-   Novator Finland Oy has previously entered into OMX forward
contracts for 1,940,800 shares in Amer Sports Corporation that mature
on February 15, 2008. In addition, Novator Finland Oy has today
purchased OMX forward contracts for 8,130,563 shares in Amer Sports
Corporation that mature on June 19, 2008. After the maturity of the
forward contracts, Novator Finland Oy's holding in Amer Sports
Corporation will be 10,071,363 shares representing 13.93% of the
shares and voting rights in Amer Sports Corporation.

-   As a result of the agreement between Novator Finland Oy, Ajanta
Oy and Ajanta N.V. the shareholding of Ajanta N.V. is also taken into
account in the shareholding of Novator Finland Oy. Therefore, the
potential shareholding of Novator Finland Oy in Amer Sports
Corporation is 14,688,917 shares representing 20.31% of the shares
and voting rights in Amer Sports Corporation.

Ajanta N.V.'s shareholding in Amer Sports Corporation
-   Ajanta N.V. holds OMX forward contracts for 4,617,554 shares in
Amer Sports Corporation that mature on June 19, 2008. After the
maturity of the forward contracts, Ajanta N.V.'s holding in Amer
Sports Corporation will be 4,617,554 shares representing 6.38% of the
shares and voting rights in Amer Sports Corporation.

-   As a result of the agreement between Novator Finland Oy, Ajanta
Oy and Ajanta N.V. the shareholding of Novator Finland Oy is also
taken into account in the shareholding of Ajanta N.V. Therefore, the
potential shareholding of Ajanta N.V. in Amer Sports Corporation is
14,688,917 shares representing 20.31% of the shares and voting rights
in Amer Sports Corporation.

Amer Sports Corporation's total number of shares is 72,325,545.

The 20.31% ownership of Novator Finland Oy and Ajanta Oy is different
from the information given by Ajanta Oy yesterday January 22, 2008
(25.17%).
