MAJOR SHAREHOLDER ANNOUNCEMENT 19 February 2016 at 9.00 EET 

Stora Enso Oyj received on 18 February 2016 a notification under the Chapter 9,
Section 10 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which the holdings of
BlackRock Inc.'s and its funds in Stora Enso’s shares fell below the threshold
of 5% on 17 February 2016.
