Matti Alahuhta will continue as President and CEO of KONE Corporation

KONE Corporation, stock exchange release, December 2, 2011, at 1.00 p.m. EET

KONE Corporation's President and CEO Matti Alahuhta has the possibility to
retire in June 2012 at the age of 60 according to his current agreement. Mr.
Alahuhta will not exercise this possibility but will continue as KONE
Corporation's President and CEO also after June 2012.
