Kotipizza chain reports record sales in June

Total sales of the Kotipizza chain, which is a part of Kotipizza Group Oyj, grew
11.7 percent and same-store sales grew 13.0 percent in June compared to those in
the previous year. Same-store sales are based on sales figures from 242
restaurants.

This year the monthly sales amounted to 7.29 million euros and last year to
6,52 million euros. The June monthly sales were the highest in the history of
the chain. The previous monthly sales record, 7.14 million euros, was reported
in April.

The cumulative chain sales from the beginning of the financial year (1 February
to 30 June) have grown 14.8 percent compared to those in the previous year and
amount to 34.6 million euros.

"The continued strong growth in sales is due to a combination of factors. It is
based on our renewed brand, successful marketing, and the emphasis we have
placed on our online store and digital presence. Above all, I want to thank our
franchisees who work tirelessly to put the Kotipizza brand and the best customer
experience in Finland into practice", Kotipizza Group CEO Tommi Tervanen says.
