SRV GROUP ISSUES NEW SHARES IN CONNECTION WITH THE MERGER OF SRV HENKILÖSTÖ OY

SRV GROUP PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE September 25, 2007 AT 11.00 A.M. EET       

The boards of directors of SRV Henkilöstö Oy (”Henkilöstö”) ja SRV Group Plc    
(”SRV”) have executed a merger plan on April 27, 2004, pursuant to which        
Henkilöstö will merge into SRV through an absorption merger.  The business of   
Henkilöstö has been to hold shares in SRV. In the merger the shareholders of    
Henkilöstö will receive as merger consideration new shares in SRV in relation to
their shareholding in Henkilöstö. The new shares will issued without raising the
share capital of SRV.                                                           

The board of directors of SRV has on September 25, 2007 confirmed the number of 
shares to be issued as merger consideration in accordance with the terms of the 
merger plan to be 10,216,468. The merger will be executed and the new shares    
will be entered into the Finnish Trade Register on or about September 28, 2007. 
In connection with the merger SRV will receive and will immediately cancel the  
12,512,000 shares in SRV held by Henkilöstö without decreasing the share capital
of SRV.                                                                         

The registered share capital of SRV is now 3,062,520 euros divided into         
39,064,000 shares, and as a result of the execution of the merger and the       
cancellation of the SRV shares held by Henkilöstö, the number of SRV shares will
amount to 36,768,468.                                                           

The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority has on May 24, 2007 approved a      
prospectus related to the merger pursuant to the Finnish Securities Markets Act 
(495/1989). The company files today an application with the OMX Nordic Exchange 
Helsinki Ltd. to list the new shares as soon as possible on the Official List   
so, that the new shares would be subject to public trade on or about October 1, 
2007.
