Lietuvos energijos gamyba, AB - Notification on material event

Regarding additional duties of the Member of the Board of „Lietuvos energijos gamyba“, AB

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2015-10-26 15:45 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- “Lietuvos
energijos gamyba”, AB (company code 302648707, registered office at Elektrinės
st. 21, Elektrėnai; the Company), informs that Member of the Company Board and
Director of Wholesale Electricity Trade Department Vidmantas Salietis starting
from 2 November, 2015, additionally to his position at the Company, is
appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Energijos tiekimas UAB (Energijos
tiekimas). 

Implementing the value chain development program of Lietuvos energija group the
separation of a part of commercial electricity wholesale trade activities
performed by the Company is foreseen. Due to that The Company and Energijos
tiekimas on 12 October, 2015 signed agreement on sale of commercial part of
business of wholesale electricity trade by which Company will transfer its part
of business to Energijos tiekimas starting from 1 January, 2016. As it was
stated in the announcement on material event on 28 July, 2015, Supervisory
Board of „Lietuvos energija“ UAB at its meeting held on that same day approved
the nomination of the Company's Board Member Vidmantas Salietis to the post of
the Chief Executive Officer of Energijos tiekimas. 

This agreement was concluded by implementing the value chain development
program of Lietuvos energija Group, including the leaning of the Company's
production activities through the separation of a part of commercial
electricity wholesale trade activities performed by the Company.
