TEO LT, AB - Notification on material event

Announcement on the acquisition of shares of TEO LT, AB by TeliaSonera AB (publ)

On 7 May 2012 TEO LT, AB (hereinafter “the Company” or “TEO”) received the
information from its shareholder TeliaSonera AB (publ), that on 7 May 2012
TeliaSonera AB (publ) entered into legally binding agreement with (i) the funds
managed by East Capital Asset Management AB; (ii) the funds managed by East
Capital AB and (iii) Coneglen Limited (hereinafter “the Sellers”), on sale to
the TeliaSonera AB (publ) in total 61,129,044 ordinary registered shares of the
Company from the Sellers for a price of EUR 0.637 (equivalent in LTL 2.20) per
1 ordinary registered share of the Company with a nominal value of LTL 1 each
(ISIN code LT0000123911). The payment for the Company's shares and the transfer
of title to the Company's shares is scheduled to take place on 10 May 2012.
