Vacon's CFO Pia Aaltonen-Forsell to start maternity leave

Vacon's CFO Pia Aaltonen-Forsell will be starting her maternity leave in
February 2014. For the duration of her maternity leave, Ann-Louise Brännback,
M.Sc. Econ. (born 1964), has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Vacon Plc
and member of the company's Executive Management Team.

Ann-Louise Brännback has held several managing positions in finance and control
in the Vacon Group including Group Controller. Most recently she has acted as
Director, Business Control Product Operations and been a member of the Vacon's
Product Operation's Management Team. In prior to Vacon, Ann-Louise had various
finance and control positions in Wärtsilä, KPMG and Leinolat Oy."We are very happy to welcome Ann-Louise to join Vacon's Executive Management
Team and IR Team. Her long experience from working in finance and control, and
in a listed company will provide her with good qualifications to succeed in this
