Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has on August 20, 2010, received a disclosure     
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which the 
holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421) in Konecranes has exceeded 10
percent. BlackRock held 6,200,223 Konecranes' shares on August 19, 2010, which  
is 10.00 percent of Konecranes' shares and votes.                               

Konecranes has a total of 62,002,120 shares. The company has only one class of  
shares and each share entitles to one vote.
