Pöyry appoints Jarkko Sairanen as President of the Management Consulting business group

Jarkko Sairanen, 47, has been appointed Executive Vice President of Pöyry PLC
and President of the Management Consulting business group. He will become a
member of the Group Executive Committee of Pöyry PLC and will report to Heikki
Malinen, President and CEO of Pöyry PLC. Sairanen will be based in the Pöyry
headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. He will take over his new duties by 1 April
2011 at the latest.

Jarkko Sairanen comes with broad international leadership experience and strong
background in the management consulting sector. Sairanen is currently the
President, Automotive Software, of Elektrobit Corporation. Prior to joining
Elektrobit he had several key roles in Nokia, among others responsibility for
Corporate Strategy. Before joining Nokia Sairanen had a successful 9 year career
with the Boston Consulting Group in Helsinki and Munich. At Boston Consulting
Group Sairanen became Vice-President and Partner in the Helsinki office.
Sairanen has a MBA from INSEAD and M.Sc from Helsinki University of Technology.

Norbert Gorny, Executive Vice President of Pöyry PLC and President of the
Management Consulting business group, will leave Pöyry on 31 December 2010 to
return to an opportunity in the manufacturing sector.
