Changes in AB Linas Agro Group business segments

Panevezys, Lithuania, 2013-09-10 08:14 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Management
Board of AB Linas Agro Group, considering recent changes in business of the
Group, where has been acquired and planned to be acquired new businesses, 
decided to change reporting activity segments of the Group. 

Business analysis of new segments already should be presented in the Annual
Report and Financial Statements for 2012/2013 financial year. 

New business segments:

  1. Grain, and feedstuff handling and merchandising
 (previously Grain and oilseeds). Segment will combine the former segments
     Grains and Oilseeds and Feedstuffs, also are added grain storage and
     logistics services from the former segment Other Products and Services.
  2. Products and services for farming
 (previously Agricultural inputs). Segment will combine the former segment
     Agricultural inputs and the newest activity segment- Machinery and
     Equipment.
  3. Agricultural production
 (previous name Farming). There are no changes in that segment.
  4. Other
 (previous name Other products and services). Grain storage and logistics
     services excluded from the segment. It includes not significant activities,
     not attributable to other segments.
  5. Food products
 (prospective segment). This segment will appear after the Company acquires
     Latvian poultry companies.  More information:
