SAMPO´S P&C INSURANCE SUBSIDIARY IF COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF RUSSIAN INSURER    

Sampo's P&C insurance subsidiary If has completed the acquisition of SOAO       
Region, a Russian insurance company. Sampo plc disclosed the agreement between  
If P&C Insurance and SOAO Region on 14 March 2008.
