Siauliu Bankas AB - Notification on material event

The pre-audited activity result for the year 2010 of Šiaulių bankas AB and the Bank's Group

Šiauliai, Lithuania, 2011-02-23 08:47 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 

During 2010 year according to the pre-audited data Šiaulių bankas AB incurred
LTL 24.1 million (EUR 7.0 million), the Bank's Group - LTL 28.3 million (EUR
8.2 million) in net loss. 

The audited activity result for the year 2009 was: Bank's - LTL 30.114 million
(EUR 8.722 million), Bank's Group - LTL 35.551 million (EUR 10.296 million) in
net loss. 

Šiaulių bankas earned LTL 15 million (EUR 4.34 million) operating profit before
special provisions in 2010, i.e. by almost twice as much compared with 2009,
when operating result without special provisions, profit tax and dividends
received from subsidiaries totaled LTL 7.7 million (EUR 2.23 million).
