Vacon and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies sign a global supply agreement

The Finland-based AC drives manufacturer Vacon has signed a global
supply agreement with Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS),
the world leader in water treatment, headquartered in France. VWS has
chosen Vacon as their preferred AC drives supplier."The world's decreasing supply of clean, fresh water is making water

solutions for municipalities and industries worldwide in more than 50

By enabling stepless speed control of pumps, mixers, blowers and
chemical dosing in an optimum way, Vacon AC drives can substantially
improve the quality and efficiency in all areas of water treatment
and distribution. The use of the Vacon AC drives for flow and
pressure control instead of dampers or valves allows substantial
energy savings to be achieved, resulting in the short payback time of
the initial investment.
