Operating results of Lietuvos energija, AB Group for the three-month period of 2013 


Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2013-05-30 09:25 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Company's
and consolidated Group‘s condensed interim financial information for a
three-month period ended 31 March 2013 has been prepared in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the European
Union and applicable to interim financial reporting. 

Unaudited operating results of Lietuvos energija, AB for the three-month period
of 2013: 

  -- income LTL 214.5 million (EUR 62.1 million), three-month period of 2012:
     LTL 275.9 million (EUR 79.9 million);
  -- net profit LTL 6 million (EUR 1.7 million), three-month period of 2012: LTL
     15.5 million (EUR 4,5 million).

Unaudited consolidated operating results of Lietuvos energija, AB group of
companies for the three-month period of 2013: 

  -- income LTL 238.4 million (EUR 69 million), three-month period of 2012: LTL
     352.8 million (EUR 102.2 million);
  -- net profit LTL 6.8 million (EUR 2 million), three-month period of 2012: LTL
     16.8 million (EUR 4.9 million).

Furthermore, the financial statements for the three-month period of 2013,
certified by the company officers, are published in the website of NASDAQ OMX
Vilnius and the website of the company according to the procedure established
by the law.
