Share subscriptions based on stock options 2006C and 2009A

Tieto Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 28 September 2012, 10.00 am EET

Between 5 June and 12 September 2012, a total of 49 801 Tieto Corporation new
shares have been subscribed for with the company's stock options 2006C, and a
total of 13 325 shares with stock options 2009A. Following the subscriptions
made with stock options 2006C, the share capital of Tieto increases by EUR 49
801.00 and EUR 493 527.91 will be entered in the share premium reserve. For
subscriptions made with the stock options 2009A, the entire subscription price
of EUR 86 745.75 will be entered in the reserve for invested unrestricted
equity. As a result of the subscriptions, the number of Tieto shares increases
to 72 337 993 and the share capital increases to EUR 75 924 474.00. 

The shares subscribed for under the stock options have been registered in the
Trade Register on 28 September 2012, as of which date the new shares will
establish shareholder rights. 

The shares will be traded on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd together with the old
shares as of 1 October 2012. 

The share subscription period for stock options 2006C is 1 March 2011-31 March
2013 and for stock options 2009A 1 March 2012-31 March 2014.
