RUUKKI GROUP PLC'S AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBERS APPOINTED

The board of directors of Ruukki Group Plc decided to establish an audit        
committee in May 2007. The board of directors has today appointed Matti Lainema 
(committee chairman), Mikko Haapanen and Timo Poranen as members of the audit   
committee.
