CORRECTION: Talvivaara Mining Company Ltd railroad transport contract signed with VR- Cargo

Talvivaara Project Ltd and VR-Group Ltd have signed a multi-year general and
partnership agreement regarding Talvivaara Mine railroad transport. The
objective is to develop in partnership the mines logistics and transport needs
and services. 

VR Cargo will be responsible for the railroad transport of raw materials and
metal sulphides to and from the mine. When in full production the required
transportation capacity will reach an estimated 1, 5 million tonnes annually. 

According to the contract Talvivaara will invest in the mine site railroad and
railroad yard. VR-Group will be responsible for the equipment required for the
transportation.		 

The 25 km railroad leading to the mine site will be built by Oy VR-Rata Ab
which belongs to the VR-Group.
