Kauno Energija AB - Interim information

The activity result of the 12 months, 2009

Unaudited Company activity result of three quarters of the year 2009 (December
31, 2009) according to International accounting standards is a profit (before
profit taxes) LTL 8071 thousand (EUR 2337 thousand), and a profit of the Group
(before profit taxes) - LTL 8087 thousand (EUR 2342 thousand). 
Sales income of the Company per the period of 12 months, of the year 2009 is
LTL 279548 thousand (EUR 80963 thousand). The income of the Group is LTL 280411
thousand (EUR 81213 thousand). 
We are presenting an intermediate unaudited financial statement of 12 months of
the year 2009, confirmed by responsible persons. 
The change of the planned AB ”Kauno energija" profit of 10887 thousand Lt (EUR
3153 thousand) was influenced by the bigger-than-expected amount of debt of
doubtful speculative buyers and by the 10 percent lower-than-expected sales
revenue.
