CENCORP CORPORATION STARTS STATUTORY NEGOTIATIONS AND FINANCING POSITION OF THE 
COMPANY TIGHTENS                                                                

The Board of Cencorp Corporation has decided to start statutory negotiations in 
Finnish companies of the group. Reason for negotiations is a need to adjust     
operations to correspond exceptionally fast weakened demand situation. Target of
the negotiations is lay-offs based on financial and production related grounds. 
The negotiations start on December 23, 2008 and they concern personnel as a     
whole.                                                                          

If the demand remains on low level Cencorp Corporation needs additional         
financing  in the beginning of year 2009.
