NEOMARKKA'S SUBSIDIARY REKA CABELS LTD TO START CO-DETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS   

Neomarkka Plc's subsidiary Reka Cabels Ltd will start co-determination          
negotiations in company's factory at Keuruu. The officials and other company's  
factories are not part of the negotiations.                                     

With these negotiations Reka Cables aims to adjust its activities to the current
market situation. Adjustments concern approximately 60 employees. Primarily the 
adjustments are targeted to lay-offs less than 90 days per employee but the     
detailed needs will be specified during the negotiations.                       

The co-determination negotiations will start 17.12.2009 and are estimated to end
during week 52/2009.
