OKMETIC AGREED ON A SIGNIFICANT SALES CONTRACT FOR YEAR 2010

Okmetic and Japanese trading company Marubeni have agreed on a
contract for year 2010 whereby Okmetic will supply Marubeni silicon
mono crystals. The sales contract will amount to around 7 million
euro. Crystal sale is included in technology sales at Okmetic.

Due to the sales contract and Okmetic's improved market situation the
company cancels most of the 23 temporarily layoffs announced in
September.
