Invitation to a briefing and teleconference

Vacon Plc, Stock Exchange Announcement, 29 January 2010 at 3:00 p.m.:

Vacon will publish its Financial Statement for the year 2009 on Wednesday, 3
February, 2010 at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time.

A briefing for the financial analysts and media will be held on the same day in
Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Mikonkatu 23, Helsinki,at 11:30 a.m. Finnish time
(9:30 UK time). Please inform IR Johanna Koskinen of your participation no later
than Tuesday 2nd of February at 11 a.m.

A telephone conference for financial analysts and investors, conducted in
English, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time (EET). Conference call
participants are requested to call in a few minutes prior to the start of
