NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN HOLDINGS UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE FINNISH    
SECURITIES MARKET ACT                                                    

YIT Corporation has on November 25, 2008 gained knowledge of notification under 
the Finnish Securities Market Act stating that following a share transaction on 
November 24, 2008 holding of Structor S.A has increased to over 10 per cent of  
YIT Corporation's shares and votes. The company holds total of 12,750,000, YIT  
shares which equals to 10.02 per cent of YIT Corporation's shares.              

At the same time it is notified that YIT Corporation shares owned by Fennogens  
Investments S.A and Corbis S.A have been transferred to Structor S.A, and thus  
these two companies do no longer hold YIT shares.                               

YIT has published notifications of increases in holdings sent by Fennogens      
Investments S.A and Corbis S.A on October 3, 2008 and November 11, 2008.
