INVITATION TO PRESS CONFERENCE FOR OKMETIC'S INTERIM REPORT                     

Okmetic Oyj will publish its interim report for January-March 2009 on Tuesday,  
28 April 2009 at 1.00 p.m.                                                      

A press conference will be held for the media and analysts on 28 April 2009 at  
3.00 p.m. at the World Trade Center, Aleksanterinkatu 17, second floor,         
Helsinki. In the conference, President and CEO Antti Rasilo will present Okmetic
group's development between January and March 2009. The press conference will be
held in Finnish.
