HKSCAN BOND ISSUE FULLY SUBSCRIBED

HKScan Corporation announced on 23 September 2008 that it would issue a EUR 20
million hybrid bond aimed at its majority shareholders. The bond issue has now
been fully subscribed and paid for by LSO Osuuskunta cooperative and Swedish
Meats ek.för.
