Report and presentation from the meeting with creditors on February 5th

In accordance with Article 13 of the Icelandic Act on Bankruptcy,
etc., No. 21/1991, the Moratorium Supervisor of Kaupthing Bank hf. is
obliged to convene a creditors' meeting of Kaupthing Bank hf. The
meeting will be held on Thursday 5 February 2009 at 10 am GMT at
Hilton Reykjavik Nordica Hotel, Sudurlandsbraut 2, Reykjavik,
Iceland.

Attached are a presentation and a short report about the bank and its
position, which will be distributed at the meeting.
