ROCLA OYJ EXEMPTED FROM THE OBLIGATION TO PUBLISH AN INTERIM REPORT

ROCLA OYJ EXEMPTED FROM THE OBLIGATION TO PUBLISH AN INTERIM REPORT FOR THE     
PERIOD 1 JANUARY - 30 JUNE 2009  
The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority has granted Rocla Oyj (“Rocla”) an  
exemption from the obligation to publish an interim report for the period 1     
January - 30 June 2009 pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Finnish         
Securities Market Act.    
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B.V. (“MCFE”) has on 13 May 2009 gained  
title to all minority shares in Rocla in the redemption proceedings under       
Chapter 18 of the Finnish Companies Act. The listing of Rocla shares on NASDAQ  
OMX Helsinki Plc was terminated on 13 May 2009. 
In its decision, the Financial Supervisory Authority has, among other things,   
taken into account that in the redemption proceedings under Chapter 18 of the   
Finnish Companies Act, the redemption price is determined based on the fair     
price during the period preceding the initiation of the arbitral proceedings.   
The arbitral proceedings were initiated on 30 January 2009. Rocla has published 
an interim report for the period 1 January - 30 March 2009. As the arbitral     
proceedings were initiated during said time period, the exemption cannot,       
according to the decision of the Financial Supervisory Authority, be considered 
to endanger the position of investors.
