Vaisala - Changes board/management/auditors

Matti Ervasti appointed Vaisala Sales and Marketing Director

Matti Ervasti (born 1955) has been appointed as Vaisala Sales and
Marketing Director and member of the Management Group starting May
15, 2007. Mr. Ervasti's most recent role before joining Vaisala is
Managing Director, Oxford Instruments Analytical Oy, subsidiary of
the Oxford Instruments Group.

Matti Ervasti has an M.A. in chemistry, and over ten-year versatile
experience in managerial positions within leading international
technology companies. Mr. Ervasti has been particularly successful in
the sales and marketing of technology products and services for
demanding professional use.

Matti Ervasti will be responsible for the global sales and marketing
of Vaisala weather measurement products, systems, solutions and
services. As a member of the Vaisala Management Group, Mr. Ervasti is
a successor to Mr. Jan Hörhammer. Mr. Hörhammer will continue in his
current role as Sales and Marketing Director for Meteorological and
Hydrological Institutes segment sales unit.

Matti Ervasti will report to Vaisala CEO Kjell Forsén.
