Correction to previous stock exchange release: Notice of Basware Annual General Meeting

BASWARE CORP. STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE JANUARY 22, 2009

Basware published earlier today the notice of the Annual General
Meeting, to be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009. The date by which
the shareholder must register in Basware Corporation's Register of
Shareholders, held by the Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd,
was wrong. The correct date is Monday, February 2, 2009.

In order to attend in the Annual General Meeting, the shareholder
must register in Basware Corporation's Register of Shareholders.
