Outokumpu Oyj - shares subscribed with the 2003B stock options and the increase in share capital

STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Between January 1, 2010 and February 8, 2010 a total of 172 437 shares have been
subscribed for with the 2003B stock options (FI0009633671). As a result of the
share subscriptions the share capital of Outokumpu Oyj has increased by EUR
293 142.90.

The increase in share capital has been entered into the Finnish trade register
on February 16, 2010 and the subscribed shares will be listed on the NASDAQ OMX
Helsinki Ltd and trading will commence along with the old shares as of February
17, 2010.

Subscription period for stock option 2003B will end on March 1, 2010.

Ltd on or about March 10, 2010.
