Standard & Poor‘s changes Landsvirkjun´s outlook from negative to stable

Standard & Poor´s credit rating agency has raised Landsvirkjun´s outlook from
negative to stable.Landsvirkjun´s credit rating, BB, remains unchanged.  On
November 23, S&P´s announced a similar change for the outlook of the Standard &
Poor‘s credit rating agency has raised Landsvirkjun‘s outlook from negative to
stable.  Landsvirkjun´s credit rating, BB, remains Republic of Iceland´s credit
rating. 

According to S&P the change in outlook reflects the overall improvement in the
Icelandic economy. The Company believes that this change has limited affect on
outstanding Landsvirkjun bonds.
