NOTICE OF CHANGES IN OWNERSHIP IN COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 10 OF SECTION 2 OF THE
SECURITIES MARKET ACTS                                                          

Nokian Tyres has today received an announcement according to which              
the funds managed by Cantillon Capital Management LLC held 714,000 Nokian Tyres 
shares as of January 31, 2007 representing 5.83% of Nokian Tyres 122,466,610    
shares and votes. The shares are held in custody with Morgan Stanley.
