Ossur Hf : Share options settled

Announcement 24/2012

500,000 share options granted on 15 July 2008 to Mahesh Mansukani, President of
Össur Americas, vested on 15 July 2012. The share options cannot be exercised
due to restrictions in the Icelandic Act on Foreign Exchange. Therefore the
agreement will be settled with cash payment equaling the difference of the
exercise price (DKK 5.4) and market price (DKK 8.15), multiplied with the number
of share options. The total payment amounts to USD 0.2 million.
