Islandsbanki hf. :Board change, ISFI's alternate member takes a seat on the Bank's board of directors

Shareholders meeting of Íslandsbanki hf. has approved the nomination by  the
Icelandic State Financial Investments (ISFI) of María E. Ingvadóttir as a new
member of the Board of Directors.  Þóranna Jónsdóttir has been elected as the
ISFI's alternate member of the Board of Directors.
