NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE IN HOLDINGS AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE
FINNISH SECURITIES MARKETS ACT

Okmetic Oyj has received notification that on 30 November 2010 the total
holdings that Outokumpu Oyj (Trade Register number 0215254-2) has in the company
have lowered from 15.65 percent to 0.00 percent. Outokumpu Oyj owned previously
2,705,000 shares and now it owns 0 shares in Okmetic Oyj.

Okmetic Oyj's share capital as recorded in the Trade Register comprises a total
of 17,287,500 shares. Each share entitles its holder to one vote.
