On the Adoption of the Law on Natural Gas

On 30 June 2011, the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania adopted the Law on
the Amendment of the Law on Natural Gas of the Republic of Lithuania and the
Law on the Implementation of the Law on Natural Gas of the Republic of
Lithuania. The Law on Natural Gas provides for the reorganization of the
activities of AB Lietuvos Dujos by the most radical way amongst other options
stipulated by the EU Third Gas Directive, i.e. by ownership unbundling. The
implementation of the provisions of the Law will have a material impact on the
activities of the Company.
