YIT CORPORATION'S FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2010           

YIT will publish the financial statements bulletin for 2009 on February 4, 2010.
Annual Report 2009 including the Financial Statements will be published during  
week 8/2010.                                                                    

YIT Corporation's Annual General Meeting will be held on March 10, 2010.        

Three interim reports will be published in 2010:                                

Interim Report for January-March on April 29, 2010                              
Interim Report for January-June on July 23, 2010                                
Interim Report for January-September on October 27, 2010                        

Financial statements for 2009 as well as interim reports will be published at   
8:00 a.m. Finnish time  (EEST).                                                 

COMPARISON FIGURES FOR 2009 ACCORDING TO IFRIC 15                               

YIT will have to apply to the financial period starting on January 1, 2010 IFRS 
interpretation of IFRIC 15 Agreements for the Construction of Real Estate. The  
interpretation provides guidance on when to account for revenue from the        
construction of real estate based on the percentage of completion and when based
on the delivery. The implementation of this interpretation will mainly change   
YIT Group's revenue recognition of housing developer contracting to take place  
at the time of delivery, while so far revenue has been recognised based on the  
percentage of completion method.                                                

YIT will publish comparison figures calculated following IFRIC 15 for the       
financial year 2009 prior to the publishing of Interim Report                   
January-March/2010.
