Össur requests delisting from NASDAQ OMX Iceland Focus on the listing in
Copenhagen





Össur's  shares are listed on both NASDAQ  OMX Copenhagen and Iceland. Today the
Board  of  Directors  of  Össur  decided  to  request  delisting from NASDAQ OMX
Iceland. The Company will focus on the listing in Copenhagen.

Jon  Sigurdsson, President & CEO: "Össur has  been listed in Iceland since 1999
and  the  listing  has  been  instrumental  in the Company's growth. However the
business  environment and the Company have changed and it is important for us to
focus  on a  trading platform  that can  support our  strategic plans for future
growth.  We would like to emphasize that  this decision only affects the listing
venue  of the Company's shares. Operations in Iceland have been expanding and we
do not foresee that to change."

Össur  was  listed  on  NASDAQ  OMX  Copenhagen  in  September 2009. The listing
provides access to international investors in a recognized market for healthcare
companies.  Currently  64% of  the  Company's  shares  are  traded on the Danish
market.

No actions are required by shareholders.

The  delisting request will  be sent immediately  to NASDAQ OMX Iceland. Further
information will be disclosed when the request has been processed.
