Regarding the decision of the Managing Board to resume negotiations with AB “Lietuvos energija”

Kaunas, Lithuania, 2012-01-24 16:16 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In order to develop
the project of the construction of bio-fuel cogeneration power plant at the
site of Petrašiūnai power plant, the Managing Board of AB “Kauno energija” by
the decision of 24 of January, 2012 delegated to administration to resume
negotiations with AB “Lietuvos energija” regarding the establishment of joint
venture for implementation of the project. 

After the appreciation of this decision, the Managing Board of the Company
terminated the procedures of the rent of part of buildings which are situated
at the site of Petrašiūnai power plant, at the address Jėgainės str. 12,
Kaunas, which were started in order to develop a project of bio-fuel power
plant construction.
