TietoEnator Corporation becomes Tieto Corporation

Tieto Corporation Stock Exchange Release 30 April 2009, 12.00 am EET

TietoEnator Corporation's company name has been changed to Tieto
Corporation (Tieto Oyj in Finnish and Tieto Abp in Swedish) as of 30
April 2009, and the company's new domicile is Helsinki, Finland.
These changes were decided by the Annual General Meeting on 26 March
and the amendments to the company's articles of association, sections
1 and 10, resolved by the Annual General Meeting, have now been
entered in the Trade Register. The names of Tieto's subsidiaries will
be aligned accordingly. The company has used Tieto as a brand name
already from December 2008.

The new name is part of Tieto's new brand that was launched in
December 2008 as a continuation to the company's strategy renewal and
changes in the operating model. Tieto aims to be the leading IT
service company in Northern Europe with top-quality services in
chosen markets and industry sectors. Tieto's vision is to build
leaders of the digital world and help its customers to achieve great
results in their business through better service, higher productivity
and new opportunities."The new name unifies the company. Throughout our 40-year history,
Tieto has been part of the company name in one form or another. Now
we have officially taken into use a simple name "Tieto" that is easy
to remember and that is already familiar to most of our stakeholders
in our main markets," says President and CEO, Hannu Syrjälä.
