Prosecution against Mr. Mikael Lilius, Chairman of the Board, dismissed

HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 30.6.2008 AT 10.30

The District Court of Helsinki has on June 27, 2008 dismissed the
prosecution against Mr. Mikael Lilius, Huhtamäki Oyj's Chairman of
the Board, and certain other former members of Perlos Corporation's
Board of Directors. The prosecution concerned a failure to comply
with disclosure obligation in the securities markets. Perlos
Coporations's profit warning was alleged to have been delayed in the
turn of the year 2002-2003. Mr. Lilius acted as a member of the Board
of Directors of Perlos Corporation in 1997-2003.
