INVITATION TO OKMETIC'S CAPITAL MARKETS DAY ON 17 SEPTEMBER 2010

Okmetic has the pleasure to invite analysts, institutional investors and media
to its Capital Markets Day on Friday, 17 September 2010 at 8.45-11.15 a.m. The
event will be held at Helsinki World Trade Center, Aleksanterinkatu 17, second
floor, Helsinki.

Capital Markets Day will focus on Okmetic's future prospects as well as on
company's strategic guidelines. President Kai Seikku and members of Okmetic's
Executive Management Group will be present at the event.

In the afternoon, starting at 1 p.m. there will be a plant tour at Okmetic's
Vantaa plant.
