THE SUPREME COURT GRANTED A LEAVE TO APPEAL TO ILMARINEN IN THE MINIMUM DIVIDEND ACTION

Helsinki, Finland, 2012-12-12 14:54 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Finnlines Plc
Stock Exchange Release December 12, 2012 at 15:55

THE SUPREME COURT GRANTED A LEAVE TO APPEAL TO ILMARINEN IN THE MINIMUM
DIVIDEND ACTION

The Supreme Court has granted a leave to appeal to Mutual Pension Insurance
Company Ilmarinen regarding the judgment of the Helsinki Court Of Appeal of 29
November 2011 in which the Court of Appeal overruled the judgment rendered by
the Helsinki District Court on 3 March 2010 and dismissed all claims presented
against Finnlines Plc by Ilmarinen.

In its petition of appeal Ilmarinen has appealed against the decision of
Finnlines' Annual General Meeting held on 20 May 2008 concerning minimum
dividend and claimed that the resolution be amended so that the minimum
dividend paid should have been 17,181,000 euros instead of 180,216.39 euros.
The Court of Appeal found in its judgment subject to appeal that the decision
by Finnlines' Annual General Meeting had not been in breach of the provisions
of the Finnish Companies Act relating to minimum dividend.
