Appointment in Huhtamaki Group Executive Team

HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 30.1.2008 at 9.00

Walter Günter, Executive Vice President, Europe Rigid Packaging and
member of the Group Executive Team, will retire as planned on January
31, 2008. Eric Le Lay has been appointed his successor from March 12,
2008.

Eric Le Lay joins Huhtamaki from the position of Managing Director,
Chilled Foods in Amcor Flexibles and has prior to that gained broad
experience from food and pharmaceutical industry. He will be based in
Finland and report to Chief Operating Officer Clay Dunn.
