Regarding the spread of false information in mass media

AB “Lietuvos energija” hereby states that the information about the alleged
lessor of Kruonis PSP presented by Bronislavas Lubys to the members of the
Seimas Committee on Economics and distributed in mass media as well as the
statements that Kruonis PSP is not expanding are false. On 29 November this
year, a tender for the selection of the general contractor of the fifth hydro
unit project of Kruonis PSP was announced. The planned project cost is about
LTL 300 million. The signing of the agreement with the general contractor in
charge of the design of the hydro-unit and the project implementation is
scheduled for the first half-year of the next year. The launch of the operation
of the fifth hydro-unit is scheduled for 2014. 
AB “Lietuvos energija” also states that the information announced in mass media
stating that two units of Kruonis PSP have been leased to the company "Inter
RAO JES" is false. None of the units of Kruonis PSP have ever been leased to
any third parties.
